Overview

This humble roadside eatery stands out as a gem for travelers and locals alike, serving up hearty bowls of meatball soup, a beloved Indonesian comfort food known for its rich, clear broth and generous portions.

The main highlight here is the bakso itself—a substantial meatball so filling it leaves you completely satiated. Complementary dishes, such as siomay, further elevate the experience, inviting diners to explore a range of traditional flavors beyond the centerpiece meatballs.

Its positioning along a major route ensures convenience, especially for solo travelers or those using local transport like scooters or buses. The roadside stall also offers ample shelter, a practical refuge when sudden tropical rains surprise wandering tourists.

Despite its casual, no-frills setup, the service at PURNAMA BAKSO BLITAR is efficient. Ordering is straightforward with English menus available, and the food arrives promptly. Diners are encouraged to customize their meals at the table with flavorful sauces that add a personal touch to each bite.

1. the store do take local delivery order, hence, even physically not crowded during visit, you still need to wait for your order, around 30min if you been there during lunch hour. 2. this is Javanese food stall, so, please do not take it as perfect Bali cuisine expectation like fantasy. But as a bakso lover, it filled your hungry stomach & ease your thirsty throat. 3. this is the nearest road side food stall stop over, if you happened travel to GWK via bus or Gojek during rainy days, it provide sufficient shelter while you are eating and planning where to go for next. 4. it works great for a lone traveller who has no idea about surrounding after leaving the airport and reach GWK area, there are local scooter riders stop over too, appreciate its strategic location.
